Co-lead the design and development of a system to record, and monitor the F&M disease. Liaison with government analysts to determine requirements. Development of the initial ASP based system to record all agricultural Premises within the UK, and all visits and restrictions placed on them as a result of the epidemic. The system grew organically from this point based on the changing requirements of the epidemic. Responsible for a major redesign of the pages and database. This system was described within DEFRA as the most important system it has ever needed. At the height of the epidemic the system scaled to over 1000 users a day with availability close to 100%.
