American Express [Travel Registry web application]:
I am proud to state that I have recently completed a state-of-the-art security weaved web application form American Express in association with AXA Insurance USA. This website will be used by American Express to offer a secure vault to their customers who shall use this facility to store vital information such as credit card details, emergency records and medical information. All these records are secured in the system down to the field level and use industry strength encryption. Every record itself utilizes a different cipher to encrypt sensitive data hence making data absolutely secure even in the event of the DB being stolen in the worst case scenario. Various other security protocols have also been implemented in the system from grounds up. I am the main architect and senior developer of this system.

WHII Web Content Management & Application Generation System:
Currently working in association with BP (British Petroleum) to architect, develop, test and release the software “WHII”. This software is an enterprise scale web content management and application generation system being built from the grounds up. I am responsible to architect and lead this project and a team of 4 developers to produce a quality product in the required time frame. The software is due to be launched in the last quarter of 2007. Technologies and facilities mainly being used for this project are C#.NET 3.0, 2.0, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, Enterprise Library for .NET, NUnit testing, FxCop, NAnt, CruiseControl.NET, Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Project, ASP.NET, WebServices, XML and ADO.NET. Scalability testing is being performed using state of the art test lab at eQuattro headquarters under my supervision. The test scripts have also been written by me.

Sage MMS Retail:
(Joint venture) Currently working at Sage head quarters (UK’s leading supplier of accounting, payroll, retail and CRM software) to architect, develop, test and release the software “Sage MMS Retail”. This software is a retail management system developed on top of Sage MMS framework. First instantiated as a project owned by BGM the entire architecture of this system was designed by me from grounds up. I was responsible to lead this project and a team of 3 developers to produce a quality product in the required time frame. On evaluating the product and its quality, Sage made an offer to BGM to buy the software hence the rights were sold to Sage in Feb 2006. Since I was the main software architect and team leader for this entire project, my services were also required by Sage as part of the agreement. The software is due to be launched all over UK in the second week of May 2006. Technologies and facilities mainly used for this project are C#.NET 2.0, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, Enterprise Library for .NET, NUnit testing, FxCop, NAnt, CruiseControl.NET, Visual Source Safe, Microsoft Project, ASP.NET, WebServices, XML, Visual Studio 2003(project started using .NET 1.1 framework, VB.NET 1.1, C#.NET 1.1, ADO.NET). Scalability testing has been performed using state of the art test lab at Sage headquarters under my supervision. The test scripts were also written by me. Due to the high quality and innovation within the product, my company has gained revenue around 500,000K in less than 2 years.

GenSuite BPMS: Business Process Management Systems (e.g. MS BizTalk Server) are known to be the final frontier for enterprise level software developments. I was given the task to analyze and design this new system along with other architects. Flexible and robust database connectivity, WebServices, smart clients and efficient GUI were the main areas of my responsibilities. I was also responsible for mentoring of 4 junior programmers. All of this design was being created using Visual Studio.NET 2004 Beta– code named Whidbey, by closely working with Microsoft directly. Language of choice for this development was C#.NET. Database Repository for the system was being designed using Microsoft SQL Server 2004 Beta-code named Yukon.

RadFiler® Server: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and Deployed this application using C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, XSD and Crystal Reports for Toronto’s biggest hospital “Mount Sinai Hospital”. Development environment used was Visual Studio.NET 2003. This software is the internet version of an existing application being used by the radiologists of the hospital. By the development of this internet application it has now become possible for the hospital to provide remote access of patient’s data to the radiologists and doctors. I was responsible for leading a team of 3 developers.

Chiron4Clinics: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and Deployed this application in Visual FoxPro. Then upgraded using ASP.NET, C#.NET, XML, SOAP, XSLT, .NET framework and .NET Compact framework to be used as a Web Service for portable devices like PDAs running Windows CE. This application manages all the “Patient Appointments” matters for McTimoney College of Chiropractors UK as well as private clinics of all the doctors graduating from that college. I was responsible to lead and mentor a team of 4 developers/programmers.

www.DesiClothes.com: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and Deployed this website from scratch. It is a database driven e-commerce website. Initially I used Microsoft Visual FoxPro as the database back-end while for scripting purposes I used ASP, ADO, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML and DHTML. Used programs like Adobe GoLive, Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop and Visio. I developed the Back office management system for this website using Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, COM, DCOM and made heavy usage of Windows DNA.
Then upgraded the entire system using the .NET framework, .NET compact framework, Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XSLT, XML, DHTML and SQL SERVER 2000. Also developed the Inventory Manager, running on Windows CE on the PDAs being used by the sales staff. I was also responsible for managing and mentoring two teams split in two countries. I synchronized both the teams (20 personals altogether) in order to initiate and maintain the complete workflow of this e-commerce website.


www.Canadian123.com: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and Deployed this website from scratch. Used Visual Studio.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript and VBScript for the development of this website. Used SQL SERVER 2000 as the back-end database for this website. I also created the back-end/back-office content management system using Visual Studio.NET. I was responsible to lead and mentor a team of 3 programmers.

IC2001 – UBC: Designed, Developed and Deployed this Client/Server (Distributed Architecture) based application using Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro 6, COM, Windows DNA, Crystal Reports and SQL SERVER 2000.
Used Visual C++ to create ActiveX controls to trap hardware errors/faults present in the system. Other ActiveX controls that I created using Visual Basic 6 were used for Heuristic Scanning and Adaptive rendering of all incoming data from various sources. Upgraded software programs written in FoxPro for Dos and Clipper. I was responsible for leading, educating and mentoring a team of 6 programmers throughout the development phase.

DMW – UBC: Proposed, Designed, Developed and Deployed a machine that fully automated the process of microfilming medical records using existing hardware and manually operated machines. I developed this multi-tiered system using COM technology and making good use of Windows DNA. Used Visual C++, Visual FoxPro and Visual Basic 6.
Visual C++ and Visual Basic were used to create ActiveX security controls and other COM/DCOM objects for this system. For database purposes I used Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6. I was also responsible to lead and mentor a team of 3 junior programmers.

DMW – Inspector: Designed and Developed this Client/Server (Distributed Architecture) based application, using Visual Studio.NET, Visual Basic.NET, ADO.NET, XML and Visual FoxPro. I had to use the RPC (REMOTE PROCEDURE CALLING) capabilities of Windows NT in order to facilitate REMOTE ACCESS to this system.
I was responsible to lead and educate a team of 4 programmers.

FaxGene: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and deployed this Client/Server (distributed architecture) application using Visual Studio, Visual Basic and Microsoft Visual FoxPro. I used Visual Basic to build an ActiveX control that acted as a translator for all the data files being submitted to it over the network/intranet. This COM based client/server system was used as the central spooler for faxing all the documents from the corporation. Windows 2000 Server was used as the operating system. Wise installer was used to create the install scripts for this product.
I was responsible to lead a team of 4 programmers/developers.

www.Jang-Group.com: Analyzed, Designed, Developed and Deployed the website for Pakistan’s largest newspaper group using Visual Studio, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, Visual Interdev, HTML, Visual Basic, Adobe GoLive and Web Connect. The database being used on the backend is SQL SERVER 2000.

Julphar Intranet: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Usability, Maintainability and Robustness. Managed a team of 5 programmers. Technologies used were Microsoft ACCESS, RPC, COM, DCOM, IIS, Windows NT, Visual C++.

EstateClassified.com: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle. Lead a team of 6 developers. Technologies used were ASP, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, IIS, Visual FoxPro, COM, DCOM, FoxISAPI and Web Connect ISAPI.

Auj Video Manager: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle including Budget assessment, Usability, Scalability, Maintainability and Robustness. Lead a team of 5 programmers. Technologies used were Visual C++, COM and Visual FoxPro.

www.FGACORP.com: Analyzed & designing the entire Software Life Cycle including Financial assessment, Scalability, Maintainability and Robustness. Lead a team of 4 developers. Technologies used were Microsoft SQL Server 6, ASP scripts using Microsoft VBScript, JavaScript, HTML and IIS 5.0

FGA-WEBRATE: Analyzed & designed the entire Software Life Cycle including future Scalability, Maintainability and Robustness. Responsible for leading a team of 3 developers. Technologies used were Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Windows NT, COM and DCOM.

ITN financial: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Usability, Maintainability and Robustness. Lead a team of 5 developers. Technologies used were Visual FoxPro, Microsoft Graph, COM, OLEDB, ODBC and Windows NT.

TEPA: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Usability, Maintainability and Robustness. Lead a team of 10 developers. Technologies used were Microsoft FoxPro, MS Graph, COM, OLEDB, ODBC and Windows NT.

Image DataBank: Configured the entire Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Usability, Maintainability and Robustness. Lead a team of 3 programmers. Technologies used were Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visual C++, COM, ODBC, OLEDB and Windows 95.

Jang TV channel: Performed Assessment and Analysis. Configured the Software Life Cycle. Lead a team of 10 junior programmers. Technologies used were Microsoft FoxPro, Windows NT, Visio Express and Microsoft FoxGraph.

E-Moto: Assisted in the configuration of the Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Usability, Maintainability and Robustness. Technologies used were Microsoft ACCESS, Visual Basic, Windows NT, COM, ODBC and OLEDB.

Al-Zafar Management: Helped in the configuration of the Software Life Cycle including Financial Assessment, Analysis of the system, Scalability, Maintainability and Robustness. Coded the source programs for the sales section in Microsoft ACCESS, Visual Basic, COM, ODBC and OleDb.
