What is people4business?
people4business is an online services marketplace. Businesses use it to find contractors, consultants and freelancers in any industry and sector.
How does it work?
people4business.com is classified as an ‘employment business’.
We provide businesses – Buyers – with access to information about contractors and consultants – Sellers – throughout the country, working in any industry and profession.
people4business.com is based on skills – Buyers select the skills they are interested in, and can then quickly find Sellers who have those skills. Anyone using the site can view the brief description, skills and hourly rate of all the Sellers registered on the site.
How does a Buyer find a Seller?
For a Buyer to get to the stage of agreeing a contract with a Seller, they must:
– be registered & logged in;
– have agreed to our terms and conditions;
– have set up an assignment.
They can then search for Sellers, create shortlists, obtain contact information and agree the contract terms. They can also set up timesheet and invoice frequency online. For more information on this, see our how to find a Seller, which takes you through the search process step-by-step.
What does it cost to register?
It costs nothing for Buyers and Sellers to register.
How does people4business make its money?
We charge an industry-beating management fee of 10%, applied on top of the hourly rate set by the individual Seller. people4business provides invoicing, credit control, contracts, timesheets, marketing, development and customer services for this fee – as well as a guarantee to Sellers that they will be paid for contracts they gain through people4business, no matter when people4business is paid by the Buyer.
The Seller rates that Buyers see include our management fee, so there are no hidden costs or charges for our services.

What is people4charity?
«www.people4charity.com» is a newly launched site, powered by people4business. It has exactly the same functionality as people4business, but offers special, discounted Seller rates to registered charities. All Sellers on people4business now have the option to offer charities a percentage reduction on their usual hourly rate.
